• Account Information: When you sign in using Google Sign-In, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture to create and manage your account.
• User Content: We collect the text, links, and files (images, documents) that you copy to your clipboard or upload to the App for the purpose of synchronizing them across your devices.

B. Information Automatically Collected

• Clipboard Data: The App monitors your system clipboard to automatically save and sync copied text and links. This is the core functionality of the App. You can enable or disable this monitoring at any time within the App settings.
• Device Information: We collect information about the devices you use to access Recopy, such as the device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers. This is used to distinguish between your devices for synchronization purposes.
• Usage Data & Crash Logs: We use third-party services like Sentry to collect crash reports and performance data to help us identify and fix bugs. This data may include device state information at the time of a crash.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App's functionality (specifically, cross-device clipboard synchronization).
• Authenticate your identity and secure your account.
• Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with the App.
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions and other illegal activities which violate our Terms of Service.

3. Permissions We Request

The App requires certain permissions to function:

• Clipboard Access: To read and write to your clipboard for synchronization.
• Storage Access (Read/Write/Manage External Storage): To allow you to upload and download files/attachments associated with your clipboard items.
• Notifications: To inform you about sync status or important updates.
• Foreground Service: To allow the App to monitor clipboard changes reliably while running in the background.
• Biometrics (Fingerprint/Face Unlock): To provide an optional layer of security for accessing the App. Biometric data is processed locally on your device and is not collected or stored by us.

4. Third-Party Services

We leverage the following third-party services to facilitate our App's operations:

• Google Firebase: We use Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Storage, and Remote Config for backend services, database, file storage, and configuration.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

• Retention: We retain your account information and synced content for as long as your account is active.

Recopy is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information.
